Vaidya Aaji

It was some 5 years back, summer of 2012 & i have just reached my office from site & was in foul mood!! And there she was, in reception sitting , my colleague madhuri who looks after reception told me she wants to meet me. I looked at her, an aging face surely well above 70's, my guess was right, she was 80 years old, her name mrs vaidya is what she told me & in her vibrating voice asked me can i buy some chakali & agarbattis from her? I was speechless , first reaction was whats this joke, this is office not some dharamshala that any street vendor walking in! But next sentence hit me very hard, "ragawu naka saheb, mi bramhan bai aahe, bhikari nahi, way zalay, ghari koni nahi, potasathi karatey!" Means i am bramhin & from good family & doing this for my survival! I looked at the old wrinkled face, vaugely remembered my grandmothers face deep within & called her in my cabin. After knowing more I knew , she has no child & a lady named aapte looks after her & she lives in a single room in shaniwar peth with no one around to look after & after selling day long chakli, chiwada she gets some 100/200 rs from which she can buy medicines for her dibetis as well elder age health issues, that's why she is doing it! That day i told her from today she need not have to worry for sale of chaklis for medicines, we will provide whatever medicines she need & I am happy till today for 5 years sanjeevani team, ganesh & madhuri hasn't failed one single month to do the job! Today she has come to meet me again in noon & was sitting in reception, I sat besides her & asked aahi sagala thik na?, those eyes have become real old now, the voice is more vibrating, deep wrinkles covering face & she said "tuzi krupa aahe baba".. Even while typing this, I couldn't see the screen of my cell as the eyes got wet remembering those words; I said its not me but the god who makes this possible as that's best reply I could give! I hurried from there assuring her all help as i wasn't having guts to look in those eyes as why someone lives so long & suffers so much, i have no answers! Though i am happy & proud my team for taking care consistently & relieving her from one burden at-least of medicine expense! Frds i shared here not to tell how great we are but we met so many vaidya bai selling chaklis all around, bramhin or not but they are human being first, i am happy that when i see any such them my conscious is alive & i didn't turned my face away from the vaidya bai's face but tried my little bit!! If at all you come across any vaidya bai you can buy chaklis at-least if not do anything else...

Yashwin Jeevan Orchid, Green Way to Life!

Recently on 17th/18th July, we have planted nearly 100 native fruit bearing trees at Yashwin Jiwan Orchid (Its project at Sus-Baner for LIC employees society as well Orchid society) at the hands of flat owners over there & we have taken responsibility of make them survive! In my childhood I have never ever purchased things like jamun, ber, mangos or chinch (pardon for Marathi phrases but that's best way to describe them) & if we don't plant these trees then our next genre wont get even paying these nature treasures! Another aspect is no better joy than seeing a tree we planted getting grow & age with us, as well unless we don't start taking pride in owning a tree, future of trees is dark!

I am happy as LIC is directly linked with making a man's life comfortable & associating with tress is one sure way to do so; life is important but more important is what kind of life we live & a life with shade of green is the best life! Do share my feelings with all members & yes its just start of what I mentioned in opening ceremony i.e. "Booking ke Saathbhi, Possession ke Baadbhi"!

Here is one touchy moment of plantation, yes that's the spirit of a boy who walks with support but becoming support of a tree! Salute!

Understanding The Man in The PoliceMan!

"I think what that senior constable shared, speaks about the need of such training's i.e. understanding that man in policeman; we all expect a policeman to be always attentive & available for the duty but we conveniently neglect our duty towards that man in the policeman! And that is the cause for the gap which is ever widening between common man & the policeman as both thinks other should improve."

One year completed for adoption of Public Lavatory

Dear Friends,

We adopted a public lavatory at nal stop , karve road pune & maintained it , on occasion of completing 1 year, Mayor Mr Dattaji Dhankawade, MP Mrs Vandana Chavan, MLA Medha Kulkarni, Dy. Comm Suresh Jagtap along with Local Corporator Sahastrabudhe madam & Sandeep khardekar & Vikrant Vartak, a small event has been organized at the venue 28 1 15. Surrounding residents were also present!

The lavatory was a nuscence to the surrounding neighborhood by its stink now is serving the neighborhood. The neighborhood residents have applied to PMC to demolish it , now are saying keep it, as its useful! We have done it without any consideration in any form from PMC , just as our share in keeping the city clean! As public toilets of any city are like kitchen of a home, telling you about culture of the family that lives in the home! If any outsiders uses our public toilet he will curse the city & as I am citizen of Pune that curse pinches to me also!

And we always pass on the buck to Govt but what we can do for city I never think, here is one simple example of what I can do! If this pattern is publicized & shared then in Pune there are nearly 700 existing public urinals, all of them can get adopted by corporates, business houses & city can proudly serve the citizen as well outsiders!

Sharing some moment of the event along, please do go through...

Sanjeevani Group's Voting awareness Initiatve

Friends,
Recently we along with Hon Snehal Barge, Dy Collector, Pune, did an awareness campaign about voting. We designed & made a small leaflet making people aware about voting & barge madam with her team distributed it amongst nearly 10,000 students of ZP Schools, which they were to carry to their parents!
It was appreciated by all segments of society... Thanks to Barge Madam & her team! As after-all making people aware about voting is something I consider job of every single person & for that u need not have to be a govt officer!

Start of Vanaja, nature club at BNCA ie Commins Arch College,Pune

Dear Friends,

Happy to share with u something real exiting! We in association with Nature walk & Forest Dept has been associated with start of Vanaja, nature club at bnca ie banubai nanavati arch college ie commins college of maharshi karve education soc. The activity is to make students of architecture exposed to nature & mainly wild life as thats something each of us should be aware off! Especially being budding urban planners these are the hands which will be designing the future of the society & their brains should be knowing impact of their designs ofn the biodiversity around.

There will be year long activities with trips to various forests & lectures of prominent personalities from wild life conservation & screening of films as well photographs regarding the subject.

The starting episode took place on 17. 1. 14 at college itself, with Mr Nitin Kakodkar, IFS, CCF Education Forest Dept, explaining the members about set up & task in-front of forest dept, then Mr Rajendra Kadam, IFS,DyCF of Pune, shared the information about wild life & types of forests in & around Pune. Then a film about dessert forest in Rajasthan for conservation of great Indian bustard by Bedhi brothers was shown. And at last Kiran Puranadare, a prominent name in State forest researchers, shared his encounters with birds in a live interactive show!

Principal Mr Anurag Kashyap, Pro Asmita Diwekar & her team deserves full credit for taking the lead & making the concept in existence & with full involvement. Ashwini & yogesh from rasa foundation & Anuj Khare from nature walk were the pillars of the entire event & will be doing so for year long now! Pallavi & Ganesh from Sanjeevani were also supported along with Nitin Mahajn & all these will be making the core team for the club. Nearly 150 members have been already registered & the concept is going to be copied or worked at other institutes like COEP is in pipe line with their students also attending this event!

At Sanjeevani we are happy & honored to be able to play our role in such a innovative concept in nature conservation awareness program, which is our prime goal! Will share more snaps & updates about the same!

Bird fest 2014, An appeal for everyone

Dear Friends,

We were one of the sponsors of Bird Fest 2014, an event for bird conservation awareness by Nature Walk, PMC & Forest Dept! We at Sanjeevani always try to take our share when it comes to biodiversity conservation! As it's not just some department's job but it's the duty of each of us, then only there stood any chance for birds & millions of other species! Bittu Sahagal, founder of Sanctuary Asia & Hon. Forest Minister inaugurated the Birdfest & for me his presence in itself was like a dream coming true as being grown up reading Sanctuary!

My sincere appeal to all individuals that in future we should support such events as much we can, as for being a builder for human beings may be difficult thing & not in every-bodies capacity but guys like Anuj & Kiran Purandare are builders for the birds & are working without no funding & u can support them & in process can become one such builder for the birds!

Thats why shared this event, u also can share with like minded as some where some bird can have his home!

New Year New Initiative

Dear Friends,

Friends happy to share with you that we along with Vilas Javdekar & Associates have adopted two public toilets for maintaining them. One is at Nal Stop, karve road & other is ladies toilet near SNDT college, karve road. In a small informal programme we started the maintenance in presence of Pune MP Vandna Chavan, Mr Anil Shirole, BJP city chief, Sandep Khardekar & Mrs. Sahstrabudhhe, Corporator, BJP, all of them supported the concept & helped to come it in existance & yes, special thanks to Hon PMC Comm, Mahesh Pathak & Dy. Comm. Suresh Jagtap who gave permission to us for maintaining the said toilets!

Its first time in history of Pune city that any public toilet has been taken for maintenance by a private organization & right from the morning the change in toilets hygiene was significant with many passer by starting to use the same!

We did it as at Sanjeevani, we feel it's our responsibility to assist civic administration of the city instead just blaming Govt for poor infrastructure. Sharing this with you because somewhere some one will get better idea & will join the moment to make our surrounding more livable! Here are some moments of the event.

Distribution of 150 kits of School Bag & Water bottle for children of guides in Kanha Forest

Dear Friends,

Every time I have some moment on seashore, or in the mountains, or sometimes in a quiet forest, I think this is why the environment has to be preserved….Bill Bradley

William Warren "Bill" Bradley is an American Hall of Fame basketball player, Rhodes Scholar, and former three-term Democratic U.S. Senator from New Jersey. And was known for his stand for environment, especially forests! Adhering to his words I always go to Jungles to have my own moments & each such trip is like reading another page of the book named Jungle making us exited about what lays ahead on next page! That's what I always feel about my every Jungle trip. Recently to assist forest dept of MP at Kanha & Pench on some technical issues I was visiting these forests & during one such round in Pench forest with Game ranger Mr.Tiwari came across an exciting incidence. We were just leisurely traveling through the forest & there were a herd of nearly 200 & more chital (spotted dears) on road & before we realize a huge tigress come across that herd without even looking at any of dears, walking in her own mood! So thrilled, exited, mesmerized call it anything we were that for a second I even forgot to lift my camera & take a shot! Once again my own experience confirmed my opinion about Tiger sightings, that when you are not looking for a Tiger, you see one!

Yet in that rush of adrenaline I clicked whatever I could & when back at room I checked what I have clicked then seeing the tigress walking past the herds of chital, the tagline first come to my mind for that image was "I live by needs & not greed's"! Because as the Tigress had her lunch or dinner, she wasn't interested in killing unnecessarily & this is where any animal in the nature scores above humans. Where as we hog & hog, may it be food or money, it's never enough for us is a fact with many & that's main reason of deterioration of the nature around us! We live by greed where as even the hunting predator like Tiger lives strictly by its needs! I posted the same on Sanctuary Asia's face book page & the response in terms of comments was huge. I am not the person to gauge any achievement or action from FB likes & dislikes, yet Sanctuary Asia's Face book page is not just for making time pass & fun. But it's a great platform where you get exposed to some of best wild life moments, sharing as well with bosses in the field of wild life conservation! And a comment coming from that level about whatever you post is serious stuff. What I did this time is instead of writing in usual way about the trip, compiled my own comments on some of the remarks & wow, a share-up comes out instead of write-up! Let's go then with starting words of my first post...

Friends, leisure drive in calm & quite Pench forest after the work & feeling the fresh green air in lungs with a slight drizzle & warm sun light too. Listening stories of tourists crazy for the tiger sighting & experiences of forest staff & suddenly from a heard of at-least 200 more chitals on road comes ahead a full grown tigress, least bothered by anything around & walks straight towards us! Even the chitals were silent & no calls from anywhere! So surprised we all were that I even forget to raise my camera for a while. Such is the grace in walk of the Queen of Forest! Mesmerizing, when u look in eyes of a full grown tigress in her kingdom, at close range.... That's what u feel, as if she is spellbinding you by those powerful green eyes, telling you to get off her way & she care a hang about you & your camera! I have seen hundreds of tigers & like the great Jim Corbet once said, I remember each of them, such is the encounter, each time something different. Agreed, forest in itself is special by every aspect & even a tiny insect or a wild flower too is equally important, still some sights are better than others & some are best! This was in Pench, Aug last week while at work for forest dept to assist them & all hats off to Game Range Officer, Mr. Tiwari there, who was ever enthu in sharing info as well a true field officer too. Such sights & incidences makes us come back again & again in wilderness for getting hypnotized by those green eyes, at-least to me it's that way.

I agree about creating awareness through sharing such experiences as that's the sole purpose of sharing such images as well knowledge, someone somewhere will get benefited & at end it's the nature which will have advantage of it. Joke is myself & ranger Mr.Tiwari was discussion about the way people search for tiger sighting & in that zest forget about to enjoy the beauty of forest! But then this rarity & beauty of the animal is the answer in itself, as had it been common sight then there wouldn't have the charm which it enjoys now, is equally true! Though through such shots we come to realize about nature & its behavior, actually I was a split second late in getting my camera or else the tigress come literally through the chitals without even glancing at them! We couldn't believe it, though the chitals seems to know as not a single alarm call was there! So many years in forests yet each time it gives some different experience & that's why maybe it's the best school existing!

Yeah was a bit lucky & the sole purpose of sharing such images as well knowledge is someone somewhere will get benefited & at end it's the nature which will have advantage of it. Joke is myself & ranger Mr. Tiwari was in discussion about the way people search for tiger sighting & in that zest forget about to enjoy the beauty of forest! But then this rarity & beauty of the animal is the answer in itself, as had it been common sight then there wouldn't have the charm which it enjoys now, is equally true! Though through such shots we come to realize about nature & its behavior, as I have mentioned actually I was a split second late in getting my camera or else the tigress come literally through the chitals without even glancing at them! Even the forest officials said that in their so many years of service they also haven't witnessed such rare scene of tigress walking past dears & they are at such ease. But then they do witness many such extraordinary scenes each day as the forest is alive with many such!

Many a times those of us who visits forest regularly often came across a question by our friends & family! At-least I do have such experience & it's, "What's there that you go in jungle so often?" Well, answer lies in above such moments! Each time there is something which we take back & best thing is we don't know what it is that we will be taking back, when we enter in forest! It is that feeling of experiencing unknown makes us to visit forests again & again & then it need not be a tiger every time, even a butterfly or a wild flower can be equally thrilling sight & is important for the forest. And it's from this affection towards forest a moment starts & there only lies the hope for survival of the forests, is what I think! At the same time it's not just going to forests & enjoy the sighting but our responsibility is much more than that, towards everyone who is part of forest system. So let's work in hand & make the tiger & many such species feel safer in their forests!

Adhering to my own words, at Sanjeevani we have always tried to take our share of responsibility towards conservation of wilds. In one such event we have distributed nearly 150 sets of School Bags as well Water Bags for the school going children at Kanha. Mostly those are of guides working in park as well local Baiga tribal's kids. In a cozy function at Khatiya Gate at Kanha we handed over the sets too representatives of guides association of Kanha park. Kanha Park Director Mr. Jasbir Chauhan was also present at the occasion. Friends as I always say this, I am sharing with you not to show how philanthropic we are but some where someone might get inspired & will help the cause in better way! We shop for fun on any day of the week for our kids & just for our greed, forgetting need of many around places like Kanha. Many of the school going kids have never in their life seen a school bag like thing! As the job of conserving forests is not of any department or individual's but of every one of us. And we don't know what moment will make someone become a wild life conservationist, as its just phase of mind not any post!

Summarizing the share-up will add few words which I wrote to my kids after getting so many applauds for the image I posted as well our work for forest conservation, sharing the same here…

Dear Rohit, Rohan & Nkihil,
One simple click & on platform like Sanctuary-Asia I am loaded with comments & applauds! Agreed the image has come real well but it was just my luck & my only contribution was apply some mind, lift camera & shoot! They are saying for sending this snap for wild life photography competition at Sanctuary!

What I learn from such incidences is, your hobby can be your best way to happiness too! And whatever we do we should do it with total dedication & there is every chance that we get success in doing that & lastly I wasn't doing it for all these appreciation, but for my pleasure & what has come along is just bonus. It should not go to my head that I was the creator of the image but my role is just like a postman who has the luck of carrying good news to others! Wanted to share all such thoughts especially with you, as some day you all will be in such situation & remember the cause is not photography but conservation of such sites!

Honoring the courage! (Kesari Tour Guides felicitation)

Dear Friends,

Recently we invited Mr. Ajay Desai & Mr. Shripad Nabar who are representatives of Kesari tour, who has experienced the havoc of Uttarakhand disaster in person. They shared their experiences with us. What was important is as a group leader; in Kesai term " Appla Manus" of the tour, they stood to their job in extreme conditions where any other person would have ran away to save his life & no body would have blamed him for doing so, such were the situation. We at Sanjeevani have been always keen to serve our customers as well society in better way & for that such experience sharing was a new lesson. Kesari has a tradition of serving their customers at best but its possible only by a team of dedicated people like Shripad & Ajay!

In a cozy get-together where Sanjeevani team & Kedar Vanjpae Developere Ltd( KVDL) team was present, we listened both the tour leaders fight with nature god & how they went extreme in taking care of trapped tour members in Uttarakhand disaster; for six days these people were on just tea & Maggi noodles;lles & facing extreme cold & rain with everything lost! We felicitated them for their courage & parted with a new vision in giving service to our customers!

Along are some of the moments of the get together...

Drought & our efforts!

Dear Friends,

This time the heat & drought is just unimaginable especially in vidarbha & marathvada areas. We have been working with Bhartiya Jain Sangh ( BJS) who are doing great job on this front. Being from khamgaon , vidarbha, I know personally what a water scarcity means!

When BJS contacted Credai( Association of Pune based builders) it was mainly for Chara Chavani adoption ie Cattle Shelter, as to feed the cattles is a main problem. Though they mentioned about sending water tanks & they were refereeing Sintex Tanks. When we discussed in detail with BJS, then Sintex tanks size is a restriction & the cost also. At the same time durability was another issue & to take out water from them too is a bit problematic.

The main problem at many small villages was they are not having any central water storage system so when the water tanker comes in village or wadi there is a stampede to get the water from it amongst the villagers. We thought of getting designed 10000 lit ferrocrete water tanks which are sturdy , durable & long lasting. The tanker water can be stored in these tanks from here the villagers can take their share with much ease. As top is open as well many taps can be provided at bottom, making the water accessible for multipale persons ata time without stampede at the source.

Also after summer the same tanks can be still used for storage of bore well water which can pumped in it & from there can be smoothly distributed to villagers. We will be installing such tanks in ten villages in due course.
Each tank costs nearly Rs 50,000.00 & can hold a tanker of 10,000 lit. The life of ferrocrete tank in minimum 15 years.

First tank was installed on 4th of May at village Dongarkini some 40km from Beed. Our team Ganesh & Prafulla went there for the same & the villagers were happy indeed & thanked the team. The snaps are self explanatory. The BJS supposingly will be giving order for nearly 150 such tanks at various villages with the outcome of first tank installation to the concerned contractor of ours.

Along are some snaps by our team, of existing water storage arrangements, ferrocrete tank which we have designed & situation in village after water tanker arrives there.

Frds, do think of what we can do & act is the way as society is what you & me does for each other, thats the way we have at Sanjeevani & shared this with you because somewhere some one can do better job for drought hit areas after reading this! So do share with your frds too.

Contributing for a social call!

Dear Friends,

Plz see the snaps along. While moving around in our own city so many small things we notice but we ignore or think that it's not our responsibility! Well, a small step from our side can make a big difference. Here is one such, at my regular evening walk I noticed that on a PMT bus stop in Navsahyadri Soc, Kothrud ie where I stay, there wasn't any sitting arrangement & with pmc's Dyanada School near by, many kids who use this bus stop as well elderly people in the locality have to stand or sit on footpath in waiting of the bus. I had a word with local corporater Mrs. Medha Kulkarni asking can we fix up two benches at the stop, for which she immediately agreed & we fixed two benches there. The use started immediately with kids & elder residents thanking our team who fixed the benches!

I know its not a big deal yet shared with u because we all have potential to do such things, issue is realizing our own potential & use it for the society!

( I only hope that PMC encroachment squad doesn't consider this as an encroachment & removes the benches!)

Building a Society not just concrete structures.....

Dear Friends

One more step by Sanjeevani group building the society through our innovative ways. This time its children from the age group of 7 to 10 years old.

Few days back Mr. Sanjay Deshpande, attended one Painting exhibition i.e. "Rangaprarambh" which was held in Yashwantrao Chavhan Art Gallery. He liked most of paintings which were made by children in that exhibition.

We then approached Mrs. Prajakta Ponkshe who is painting teacher as well five artists by herself. The exhibition has been originated by herself and was of her students paintings only. We decided to go for as many painting we can and make collage of them which we will be displaying in our upcoming buildings entrance lobbies.

She liked the idea and with her assistance we selected nearly 75 numbers of paintings and made seven numbers of collage out of them.

In a small cozy function we honored the kids with book of Panchtantra and remuneration in terms of some amount per painting.

The joy and pride of the kids can't be described in just words. Friends, these kids are future of society and we are happy in doing our role in shaping them up by supporting their art! Here are some touchy moments of the get together.

Conserving biodiversity in urban area, Sanjeevani way :

We have funded for building a water hole of nearly 2000 lit capacity at ARAI hill forest in Pune. Conserving biodiversity in urban area is most neglected but most important aspect & we all should contribute towards the same in our own way.

Contributing "Save Tiger" movement! Sanjeevani Way... for social Contribution !

Dear Friends,

Any business that makes just money & nothing else is a bad business... Henry Ford.

Adhering to same we have always tried to play our role on social front & especially wild life conservation! By now whole world & not just country is speaking of "Save Tiger" but as it has been proved you can't save the individual specie but its the entire life cycle around it has too be conserved. That includes forest around the tiger & people living over there. From our various trips to such forests we keep on supporting the people working for forest by various means & there are good friends around who join the hand for the cause. In one such effort we along with few friends of same interest have arranged for nearly 150 pairs of safety shoes for labors working for forest dept & guards at Kanha Tiger Project, Madhya Pradesh. Its been well supported by Hemangi & team from Gift Gallore for co-ordinating the delivery & print work for the same. Also our team mate Ganesh who went along there with Ashwini Deshpande.

On 21st Nov. ie Monday, Ashwini Deshapnde along with rohit deshpande & Ganesh tikone, handed the same to officers of Kanha project at Kanha & they were indeed happy as its rarely any outsider understands their difficulties & try to support, was what their reaction! The labors who are most susceptible for snake bites as they have to work bare foot were thrilled & mostly all tried immediately the shoes as alternate day there is a snake bite case in Kanha forest. Because the snake strikes mostly at ankle level, these shoes which covers nearly 6" above ankle level will be the best protection & surely will get down the numbers of snake bite. More important is the guards & labor can work more freely in forest & its that feeling in their mind which is the success of what we have been trying for ! To share the truth many a labors have wore the shoes for the first time in their life as the labors are mostly the native tribal around the forest area & their financial condition dont permit them even a slipper leave apart a shoe pair!

Though the forest dept has their own resources yet any help is always welcome & especially Mr Jasbir Chauhan, Director Kanha park was extremely enthusiastic as well supportive for the entire event & personally along with his team distributed the shoes amongst labors as well guards. After all what is a govt dept? A bunch of few people who are supposed to take care of a particular aspect of life & that doesn't mean we as a society should not do anything on that aspect! Rather its the society's participation which make them more enthusiastic towards their job!

Friends, forest has given us immense moments of joy ,I think each of us has something to pay back to it,whatever little it may be! sharing some moments of the event with you! Plz click the link below for more.

Support "save tiger" movement ! Sanjeevani Effort !

Dear Friends,

"Save Tiger" isn't just a caption which should be hung in our hall or to make it our sign or statement on web sites! Its something we all have to get it in our acts & its not just the tiger which can be saved but the entire system surrounding the same has to be supported then only there are hopes for the poor guy!

At Sanjeevani we have always thought out of box & extended our hand to support such cause! For eg every year there are many snake bites at kanha forest & main victims are the labors/guards working in forest for various petty works. It happens mainly most of the local labors are bare feet or with slippers & most snake bites causes because accidentally stepping on the snake while working in grass land or foliage & the victims are bare footed till ankle whare the snake can strike easily. The forest dept is working to protect & have vaccines available yet if we can prevent the bite itself then I think its best help we can do. In my recent visit I come across with director over there Mr Chauhan & who very enthusiastically discussed many topics with me on mail.

From the discussion we come out with a concept of giving gum boots/safety shoes to the park workers & executing the same.We will be sending nearly 150 safety shoes pairs to Kanha park ,where the director will distribute them to the park labors.

All those who wants to assist the cause also can join as the need is much more, one pair costs 200/- inclusive of sending the same to kanha & u can send the amount directly by inquiring at ...

PMT Bus Strike in Pune 17/02/2011

There was a PMT bus strike in Pune & we provided our marketing vehicles at Karve road bus stops to help school kids & the elderly ones to go to nearby location to their destination. I think any such event is test of our social awareness & how we respond to that is what defines what we are !
Frds, sharing this with u just to say, more & more such individuals efforts should be circulated amongst our frds so we too can improve our own self at such occasions.

Experience of our Marketing colleague Mr. Ganesh who accompanied these students—

Due to PMPL strike on 17.2.11, we have provided free service of drop up for School Children & also for elderly people. We have provided our Marketing vehicle ( Innova) in the morning from 11 am – 1 pm & also in the evening from 5 pm – 7 pm. at the SNDT & Karve road bus stops. .
He dropped school children of Shishu vihar school,( Near SNDT) Ashok Samrat school (Near K’ve Ngr), Shankarrao More Vidyalaya school ( Paud Road) Shivrai Pratishthan School (Ideal Colony)

It helped a lot for the small school children as rickshaw wala’s were charging higher due to PMPL strike & also most of the rickshaws were occupied. Many students were having their oral or unit test exams, so they were dropped in time at school.
Many parents expressed their gratitude & thanked us for giving such service. Some of  them mentioned that there are hardly any people who do so for social cause & thanked him.

Laptop Distribution

Dear friends,

Any business which generates only money is a bad business.. Henry Ford.

And adhering to the same we at Sanjeevani keep on doing whatever best we can do to support every segment of the society with our limited resources. One such try is we helped out to ms joshi, student of Govt College of Eng, & who is 2nd topper in 1st year by giving a lap top for her studies.

Frds, many of us change or upgrade the laptops or PC just because we can avail it & the exchange price is very nominal. Its a request that when u go for new such gadget instead of exchanging ,plz think of many students in various schools who don't have capacity to buy & they can get benefited by ur pc/laptop.
This has been appealed to me by HOD civil of Eng college  Dr Sathe. So thought of sharing with u.

Frds after all what's Save Tiger? We can’t feed or protect individual tiger, instead if we play our role in strengthening the system which is doing their job against all odds, I think we have done our role!
Thanks once again & do spread this message in all ur circle, some where some one may literally will save one Tiger !
Also Gift Gallore team who helped in supplying the kits at very moderate cost. Any one want to contribute for such cause may contact them directly at..

KANHA - PROJECT TIGER

Frds,

I have sent 100 winter kits including a full neck sweater, handgloves & head gear( kantopi) for the forest guards & guides in Knaha Tiger Project.Yesturday on 14th it has been handed over to the Hon Forest Director Mr Himmat Negi who took keen interest in the process & Dy Director Mr Mahanto by my frds & distributed among the field staff & guides who accompany the tourists on their jungle rides. Winter is real chill at Kanha & tem drops at 3-4 degree centigreds! Yet they have to do their job right from early mornings when most of us are fast asleep in our four walls' warmth!

"Save Tiger" isnt a job of any single NGO or person or Govt, its everybody of us who can contribute in our own way & strengthen the people who are actually working over there!

Thought of sharing my team's contribution with you ,so as u can spread the word
to make more & more people aware about their responsibility towards the cause :)

Along are some snaps of the moment & a cute tigress which my team has captured !

( special thanks to Hemangi & her team at Gift Gallore who not only procured the kit but went all the way long to kanha to deliver the same)
